  1. I really liked Krakow, though, as you note, the melancholy is palpable. I ate at a very upscale fusion place that was just incredible…but I don’t remember the name and can’t find it in my notes. Sorry! I was so impressed by the inventiveness of the cuisine, I still remember the experience, if not the name, several years later. Surely by now there are several restaurants in the city that would fit the bill.

Ohh would love to know! But glad the memory of the food and the city is still with you.

I’m going to Krakow in November so I’m so excited to see this post. Thanks so much for this informative post, Girl!

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
