I’m visiting Iceland in mid- August. How would you change the packing list for a true summer visit?

Hi Katie! Even though you’re visiting in summer, Iceland is still known for being quite brisk, with average daytime temps in the 50s-60s. That said, weather can change pretty quickly and one minute it will be sunny, then next it’s pouring rain.

Hi, I’ll be travelling to Iceland in the third week of March and staying for a week. Did you fit everthing into a small carry-on bag or did you check in a larger bag? Thanks!

Hi Susana! I checked a larger bag, partly because I was bringing my camera gear and tools for the road, but some of the jackets are quite bulky and unable to fit in a small carry-on. If you *CAN* fit everything in a small carry-on — more power to you (and I’m super impressed).

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
