I loved Treviso even more tan Venice just because Venice has too many tourists. Also I didn’t like the smell. I am always looking to find a place that is more under the radar. I would also recommend visiting town Pescara. Its Old town is very beautiful and the city is divided in two by the river in between.

Hey Branko! I adored Treviso. Thank you for sharing about Pescara, I will keep that in mind for future trips to Italy. 🙂

I love your site!! Question for you….I am thinking of investing in a really cute/modern apartment in Treviso, 3 Bedroom. Do you think there is enough tourism to rent this in the high season? Thank you for your insight!

    • Yes definitely! Location and a few other factors would be important! My husband, Meyer, who lived in Treviso for 5 years is actually a real estate agent if you’d like some help. He’s @meyer.swanepoel on Instagram—send him a DM!

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
