How the Converter Works

I saw this at Target the other day and wondered if it was any good. I’ve been debating buying a dual voltage straightener to take to Europe this summer since I need a new one anyway…
Love this! But question – I have used a similar convertor – but since it converts the volts, using a hair dryer pretty much anywhere outside the U.S. is not going to be the same (less blowing power)? I never seem to be able to give my hair a decent blowout even when I travel (even after buying hairdryers abroad).
