We would have never done a staycation in our city, but with the travel restrictions in place we thought we would spend a long weekend in the centre of London. We were so amazed to find some places we would have never though of visiting. Everyone should try this atleast once.

Hi Dina! I’m so happy to hear that — staycations are a wonderful way to see a different side of your city. 🙂

What a great bucket list! Thoroughly enjoyed this post. I recently retired, literally a few weeks ago; and I did my first ever solo vacation. And to a bucket list destination no less! I just returned from 10 fabulous days in Nosara, Costa Rica. I stayed at a bed and breakfast called Casa Vitality; also a first time B&B experience. It was beyond amazing. Ten days, ten different gourmet breakfasts. Hiked through the rain forest. Wandered both black sand and yellow sand beaches. Witnessed the Arribadas on Ostional Beach, that’s the rare, mass nesting of rare Olive Ridley Sea Turtles. Took my first ever sound bath at local yoga retreat…it’s all about brain entrainment. It was all so incredibly cool. Felt completely safe at all times. I could go on and on about my trip to through the mountains, to visit a family coffee plantation; the food and the expresso martini – totally delicious.

Sorry, won’t blather on any longer. Just want to reiterate the positive tone of your post. Take a bucket list trip, and don’t be afraid to take it alone!

    Cheers,
    Cynthia

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
