I’ll be in Croatia this June and will be visiting Plitvice while driving south from Zagreb to Split. We were thinking of making a stop at Krka to get in on the swim action as well, but wouldn’t have much time… how many hours do you think that would take (i.e. not a full hike, but just a hike down to the waterfall to swim and then hit the road again)?
    Thanks!

    • Hey Jen! It’s just a short walk from the dropoff point inside the park to get to the waterfall- maybe 10 minutes 🙂

Hey! Great article. Beautiful pics. I’m heading to Split in a couple of weeks and I’m definitely making the trip out to Krka. I have a question for you though, do you think it’s worth the extra $$$ to get a guided tour of Krka or do you think it’s possible to navigate the park and see all there is to see on your own?

    • You definitely don’t need a guide at Krka. If you have a car, it’s definitely easy to visit Sibenik and Krka on your own. If you don’t have a car, you can go with a tour company. Once you get to Krka they give you a brief tour but then you an swim at your leisure!

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
