  1. Wow. What a life-changing experience! Returning to the states must feel like returning to a different world…it must be a completely different way of life from down there. I’d imagine the experience would be humbling, and probably a strong sense of putting what’s “really important” into perspective – which I think more people could benefit from.

So cool to see you doing all this stuff Kiersten!

Yes to all of the above Tim! It is pretty heavy coming home to all my “stuff” here in So Cal. Life is so much more meaningful through a humbled heart. 🙂

  2. What a truly beautiful experience. Loved that you not only got to help out a great cause but got to experience a bit of the Bolivian culture and admire the stunning scenery. I’ve definitely heard of the amazing work Biblioworks.are doing in the area and very much would like to volunteer with them upon my return to Sucre. Lovely article and pictures 🙂

    • Thanks Brigid! It was such a unique travel experience. I’ll never forget it!

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
