Hey Kiki, how did you find your apartment? Is there a website similar to Zillow or Realtor that ya’ll use in SA? Thanks in advance!

Hey Courtney! I’m going to have a guide available soon about ALL of my tips and tricks about moving to Cape Town – my true local guide. When are you looking to move here?

    Hi Kiki,

For Americans living in the Western Cape, can you recommend any grocery stores that stock US foods etc that we miss from back home? Thanks!

Hey Dee! I can only comment on Cape Town as that is where I was living. The first recommendation would be Giovanni’s – it’s an Italian deli and grocer, but randomly they carry some American cereals (I never really got them but it was fun to see Reese’s Puffs and a few different things. Not a crazy amount but they had like Almond Roca and that sort of thing if you’re craving junk food!). Spar carries Reese’s and some American candy. I hope that helps a bit! If you have a specific item, let me know and I’ll rack my brain 😉

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
