This was my hood! I love the promenade and you can cycle on the sidewalk for the entire length of the seaboard from Sea Point all the way to Clifton, then, if you’re up for it, down to Camps Bay.

Take a Sunset Cable Car Up Table Mountain
Any time of day is good to visit the top of Table Mountain, but sunset is especially stunning from up here. Be sure to buy tickets in advance and check the website for current conditions.
The weather at the top can often be totally different from the base of the mountain, with wind and inclement weather often shutting down operations, so come prepared.
Go On a Helicopter Ride
It’s not quite as scary when you’ve got somewhere there to hold your sweaty hand! As someone afraid of heights, trust me, a helicopter ride over Cape Town is so worth it.
