  1. A smart list for all female travellers. I just travelled around Central Asia and Iran, with another female and we definately used all of these tips at one point or another. I really liked your tip about knowing conversations to avoid in some countries. It’s always good to do a little home work before you go.

    Thanks 🙂

For sure! It definitely comes in handy, and it’s always best to travel smart.

  2. Great tips! Not bad to just generally put them into practice particularly if you’re still too anxious to travel solo- did you find these easy to implement alone? Did thinking about the potential problems not scare you?

    • Of course there’s an element of fear if you encounter a situation that’s sketchy. But most of the time, I find that anticipation leading up to a trip is scarier than when you arrive in your destination. But 90% of the time, I haven’t had to deal with any safety issues while I’m solo!

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
