  1. Hi Kiki, I enjoyed your posts about Sable Alley and Botswana. We’re headed there next June. We’re also planning on a night in the Sky Beds. I’m a Fuji shooter as well. I’m trying to plan on what gear to bring. I have the X-T2 and X-T3 bodies and will be bringing both. I also have the 50-140 and the 100-400. Wondering if you would recommend bringing both? Have the other lenses you mentioned as well. I’d appreciate your recommendations. Thanks!

    • Hi! I just got the 100-400 and love it. I’d recommend you only bring 1 because the bush flights have strict luggage weight restrictions. If you bring the 100-400, you could bring the 18-55, 10-24 and prime and be totally set for anything that comes your way.

Thanks Kiki, The 100-400 was my original plan so I’ll leave the 50-140 at home. I was planning on having that lens on my X-T3 and my 18-135 on the X-T2 to avoid changing lenses and to have an option for shooting closer. I will also bring the 10-24 and my 35 mm 2.0. My bring the 18-55 as well since it’s small and won’t add much weight.

  2. What a magic camp and in such a superb area! Great review!

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
