Hello, it sounds amazing the trip to Iceland, but you recommend renting a campervan when is a solo trip or is better for group trips?

Hey Maria! It really depends on what you’re comfortable with and what kind of trip you’re after. It’s definitely a good way to see places and explore, but if you don’t have a car, it’s fairly easy to book a day trip from Reykjavik to adventure to other parts!

Love these photos! I’m seriously considering a solo trip to Iceland in 2021. To piggyback off of the most recent comment, would you personally feel comfortable doing a solo trip in a camper van around Ring Road? Ideally that’s what I want to do but not sure if it would be too unsafe and lonely!

Hey Cory! While it’s definitely possible to do, I really enjoyed going with a group. Especially for trading off driving and also splitting costs — gas is quite expensive, as is renting the van. That said, you could go alone but I was glad to go with a group.

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
