    • Hey Bernice, There is actually a motorbike service you can use- I’ve included it in my other Bali Guide under “Getting Around”!

hey, now you can use these apps for motorbike taxi… there are some but same cheap prices just download it to your phone then you can get a driver and off you go
      – go-jek
      – grab bike

they’re much cheaper than the ones on the street

Thinking of possibly going on a last minute trip solo. Bali looks amazing! But I don’t know where to begin. You feel that it is safe for a solo trip? (I mean you have done it but in just checking). Also, is going im the first week of Sept an ok time to go? I’m trying not to spend too much either so I see that you can do a lot for less than most other places. I just want to relax and restore. Your around and maybe some yoga!

    • Yes, I would highly recommend Bali for a solo trip, and September is a beautiful time to visit 🙂

      • Shay (thinking of solo Bali holiday travel)

couldn’t agree more Kiersten. my first visit there during the peak season and was just too crowded. next was September and was a lot rewarding.

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
