  1. Haha, well while all the guys clicked for the story for *other* reasons, I was actually unfazed by your photo. No offense. 😉

Love the story – I’m heading to Thailand next spring on my RTW trip and definitely looking forward to snorkeling. After reading about your horrifying near-stranded experience at the Great Barrier Reef (seriously, I was scared just reading about you almost being left behind, lol) I was hoping this had a happier, safer plot.

Luckily, it did. 😉 Glad you had a great time, and thanks for reliving the adventure for us!

  2. I took a similar but smaller trip when I was in Thailand last year and could not believe how strong the current was and how hard that rope ladder was to climb to get to Maya Bay. Like you said totally worth it despite the movie bringing tourism to this beach it is still beautiful.

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
