This is really useful. How much extra should you add if you want to go to the West Fjords as well? I hear that the roads are very slow there.

Hey Michael! IF you’re looking to do the West Fjords, you’ll want to add a few more days. I don’t have an exact itinerary for this, so I would recommend looking into other blogs and travelers who have done that route. Happy adventuring!

Hello! Was it ok to use a non 4×4 camper van?

    • The Blonde Abroad

Hi Anna! We did just fine in our vehicle — I don’t think Happy Campers would rent out non-4×4 vehicles if they weren’t able to handle the terrain. That said, we weren’t really offroading, but driving in Iceland is definitely difficult than a typical freeway commute.

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
