  1. I couldn’t agree more. Though you are a couple but it doesn’t mean that you need to be together all the time. It is great having a me time every travel.

    • Absolutely….whether it is travel with a significant other, a best friend, family etc…you just need some time alone. Some time to do things with no one else’s agenda in your way…just go out and do exactly what you want to do and see things how you’d like to see them. So important.

  2. I love this article!! I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost a year and it makes sense that we get along so well not because we are so compatible but because we set our boundaries and one of them is personal time. We have a DreamTrip planned for our shared birthday in June and I think after the road trip we plan to take on the way there, a few hours of “ME TIME” will be good medicine for us both so that we can look forward to eachothers time during the vacation

    • Thank you Lessli! Honestly a very good idea, especially after a road trip. Have an amazing time on your trip! Where are you guys going?

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
