  1. A little extra information regarding having an online store: Amazon now has a handmade section (like Etsy) and you can take advantage of their “Fulfilled by Amazon” program. What that means is that you send your merchandise to an Amazon fulfillment center and they handle all the distribution of it, including returns. You can even use it to manage merchandise you sell on other online venues.

I tend to travel for 2-3 months at a time and last summer (before I was on Amazon) had to transport 15 storage bins to someone’s house and then spend a lot of time directing them from abroad on mailing packages. Now I’m preparing for another long trip and once I ship my products to Amazon, I’m done for a couple months. I can then use the time when I’m traveling to work on online stuff, like SEO and overhauling my website. And on top of it, it will cost me a little less than what I paid the person I hired last summer.

That was a really useful article. I’ve been thinking about retiring early and how to travel the world while earning for a while now and before I get too old to make the most of things.Lots of food for thought.

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
