    Hi kik,

Great post. Do you only use lightroom for resizing? If you have your photos only 600 px wide and not larger than 300 px, how come the quality of your photos is so nice?
I’m not happy with the quality of my photos on my website and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I take photos with a Canon g7 x mark 2, gopro 7 black and Huawei P 20 Pro. I edit a bit in LR and resize in Photoshop. When I don’t like the quality, I keep the size too big.

Hey Diana! Photoshop can also be used to resize, but for the most part I resize in Lightroom as that’s where I’m editing my photos. I start off with high-resolution photos and when I reduce them to those dimensions, I haven’t had any issues with quality. They might be slightly grainier, but overall they’ve been good quality for me. I think the biggest factor comes from taking the best quality images you can (low ISO if possible and really focusing the shot) – shooting on manual mode has made the biggest difference in my photos: https://theblondeabroad.com/beginners-guide-to-photographing-in-manual-mode/

    Hi Kiki,

Thank you very much for your answer. Yes, I always use automatic mode when shooting. It’s time then to start using the manual mode. 🙂

It can be kind of intimidating at first but take it step by step and it’s completely transformed my photos!

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
