  1. I lived in Madrid for six months and get really annoyed when I read bloggers’ food guide to Madrid and they are all rubbishy tourist places as I worry people won’t like my favourite city in the world! I LOVE all the places you’ve mentioned and am slightly annoyed in a different way as now Sala de Despiece will be even busier!!!!

I was back this weekend and discovered La Ardosa in Malasana – a typical bustling Madrid bar, filled with Spanish people drinking huge glasses of beer at lunch time, squeeze in where you can and eat the incredible tapas especially the tortilla. It was great!

  2. I love Mercado de San Ildefonso! I just been to Madrid 2 weeks ago and visited Mercado de San Anton and Mercado de San Miguel -both were amazing, eventhough Mercado de San Miguel was a bit overcrowed & overpriced in my opinion! I also visited Federal Cafe – so good!

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
