  1. I live in Singapore! (: We pride ourselves on our airport, do hope you would come some day! All 3 cities are major food and shopping destinations i might add x

I have an opportunity to fly though Iceland on my way over to Europe in May. Is it worth it to stay a little longer? And My 16 year old daughter will be flying through at a later date and would like to stay twenty-four hours extra as well. Is it safe enough for her as well?

    • Absolutely! I met another solo female traveler while I was in Iceland who was only there for 48 hours and she managed to slip in two tours while she was there. I’d suggest longer if you can manage it so you can see more though. As for your daughter, she’ll be perfectly safe. She can take a shuttle directly from the airport to the Blue Lagoon if she wants then take another shuttle into Reykjavik. From there she can do a day or evening tour if she has time, otherwise she can explore from town. Then she can get a shuttle to the airport the following day.

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
