  1. Hazel

I would consider Denmark, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Croatia and Austria all to be safe countries for a solo female traveller. The friendliest country in Europe has to be Bosnia-Herzegovina. I also felt safe there. Outside of Europe, I’ve found Canada pretty good and Singapore superb.
Female travellers should avoid Cuba like the plague unless they have a man in tow. Everywhere I went I felt threatened as did every other independent female traveller I met there. I met female travellers who were visiting as part of a guided group and they had a much safer experience.

    • Thank you so much for the tips Hazel! xx

  2. How about Singapore? It is one of the safest city I ever visited. Surprised not see it there

My favorite smart features of my old home! 🏠

I put a lot of thought and design into my home, so I knew I had to get curated, high-tech window shades to match.

Enter @rollishades — sleek, custom motorized shades that actually elevate the space while solving the very real sunlight problem. From light-filtering to blackout options, everything is tailored to fit perfectly and controlled with the touch of a button (or app). It’s the kind of smart, intentional design that makes a home feel finished. 🪟🤍

I easily installed these in my guest bedroom and let me just say, when guests come over, they’re getting what feels like a hotel experience in my home (minus the room service).
