I celebrated Christmas in Mauritius last year ( during a 6 month stay for my internship)
I have to say it was a great experience. But I did miss autumn during my stay, the leafs turning brown, the cold wind outside, candles and hot chocolate.

Awesome! Personally, I adored spending one Christmas in Freeport, the Bahamas. Dancing at a bar on the beach into the wee hours of Christmas morning, drinking Bahama Mamas, and spending the day on a secluded beach is pretty sweet 🙂
